On each stocked book page there is a button like this

 If you click on one of these buttons, the corresponding book is added to your "shopping basket". You can add as many books as you like to your basket and the system will keep track. At any stage of the process (including each purchase) you are able to change the quantity of any book, or even delete a previous selection.

When you have finished shopping, you can "check-out" your basket by clicking on the appropriate link on the purchase page. Alternatively, you can always visit the shop (by clicking on the "Shop" button in the menu) where you will see links on the right which allow you to view, change or check-out your basket. The check-out process is simple and secure with step-by-step instructions. All of the credit card information is handled using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to avoid any loss of sensitive information.

The system will maintain your basket regardless of how many purchases you make and how long it takes you; it will even "remember" your basket if you leave the site and return later. This process does require your browser to have cookies enabled (the usual default) - the site will check this and inform you if this is not the case.

Supplier locations

If you are in the United States or Canada you will be supplied by our North American distributors (International Specialized Book Services), invoiced in US dollars and your contract of sale will be with International Specialized Book Services; if you are in Australia or New Zealand you will be supplied by our Australian and NZ distributors (Federation Press), invoiced in Australian dollars and your contract of sale will be with Federation Press; if you are in the UK, Europe or the rest of the world other than the US, Canada, Australia or Zealand, you will be supplied by Willan Publishing /NBN International, invoiced in UK £ sterling and your contract of sale will be with Willan Publishing /NBN International.

Dispatch times and shipping costs

Dispatch times vary according to location, but books in stock will normally be delivered within five working days from dispatch within North America, Europe and Australia. Further information is provided at the end of the shopping process. For details of shipping costs, click here.

Forthcoming titles can be ordered in advance to ensure that your copy is despatched immediately upon publication. These titles will have a button like this

Clicking on one of these buttons adds the pre-ordered title to your basket, along with any stocked titles. Your basket may be checked out in exactly the same fashion, although pre-ordered titles will be allocated to a separate order and no payment will be taken until the title is despatched.
